2. How I Lost My Period For 10 Years and What I Did To Get It Back

In this week’s podcast we’re diving into a topic pretty near and dear to me because it’s one that I felt incredibly embarrassed about because nobody seems to be talking about it – Hypothalamic Amenorrhea.

For those of you who don’t know, hypothalamic amenorrhea is the cessation of your menstrual cycle for several months (or years in my case) due to a problem involving the hypothalamus.

In today’s podcast I discuss:

  • The 5 main causes of hypothalamic amenorrhea (HA)
  • My personal journey with HA including where it started and why it went on for so long (I had a missing period for 10 years!)
  • The 7 key steps I took to get my period back and how you can get yours back too.
